Twin Rivers Police Department Seeks Help for Playground Destroyed by Arson
At approximately 1120PM on Sunday May 30th, the Twin Rivers Police Department and Sacramento City Fire Department received calls from citizens that reported a fire at Hazel Strauch Elementary School at 3141 Northstead Drive in North Sacramento. Police Officers and the Sacramento City Fire Department responded to find a playground structure fully engulfed in flames.
Sacramento City Fire Department arson investigators were requested to examine the cause of the fire which had destroyed the structure. There are no known suspects or witnesses and the cost of the damage is unknown at this time.
